Instead of licking trump boots and accept his request to increase our “defense” to 5% of GDP of non eminent threats we can use that money for reindustrialization or maybe taxing the rich more like the NPD suggest which could generate $24B annually of revenues

I’m not expecting for a quick fix, but the government’s current plan shows little desire to reindustrialize and begin making investments in new industries. To ensure that the value, jobs, and decision-making remain in Canada, we need completely Canadian businesses that design, own, and manufacture those items here rather than just foreign companies assembling them here.
How am i going to buy non existant canadian products as alternstives?
That’s because the government is not doing enough to finds alternatives to us products

131·2 days agoYeah sure. Russia will decide to attack us before the former URSS entities. This article is just propaganda. I guess to push us to the 5% of GDP Trumo want for us instead of assessing the right percentage for our situation

9·12 days agoI read it , you think it is fine to collaborate with UAE . We just need to stop selling them weapons that can be used in Sudan but we don’t have any serious process of verifying that weapons won’t really be used . Deepening trades with the UAE generate them money that can also being used to fund genocide

91·22 days agoEven the USA spies on us

Like I said, I do not expect us to be able to do so in the short term, and we don’t even need to be as good as China and the USA to have a viable option. You have a loser mentality of saying things are too difficult to do, so let’s not even try anything. The government plan is to sell our natural raw resources with low-profit margins in exchange for high-profit manufactured products from the rest of the world. If a country like Taiwan was able to do so, Canada can too, and it wouldn’t happen with a lot of people with a mentality like yours.
