What a lot of people think of as “Vancouver” is actually a mass span of multiple cities all mushed up against each other. The actual city of Vancouver is only a small piece of the Lower Mainland.
This. Canadians are understandably angry at the USA right now but they need to accept the reality that we share a border with the US and that we still have to do what we can to maintain somewhat peaceful relations.
Canada needs major electoral reforms.
As citizens, the only say we have in government is a single checkmark written on a piece of paper every 4 years. We have no input in our federal governance beyond that and there is no repercussions if a politician decides to just not do what they promised.
