Ford is Ford and the conservatives is pretty upfront about this stuff. They just say it’ll somehow be good for the public.

It does take someone special after seeing housing in Canada to think we should do the same thing with water.

I don’t want to call this guy a liar but I strongly perceive when someone doesn’t go to a private healthcare when they run out of public options, it has a lot more to do with them not being able to afford it and not much to do with beliefs.

I think there’s some additional context that should be provided. CPPIB operates at arm’s length from the government which is probably a good thing. There also something to be said about them switching passive index strategy and what we’re paying executive now with questionable returns.

CPPIB is not considered a sovereign wealth fund because it operates at arm’s length from the Government of Canada and solely manages CPP contributions paid by workers and employers, not public funds.

As someone who has a very quick trigger finger for blocking people I can say this logic extremely flawed.

Once you remove all the people that provides little substance and essentially just spam slogans its actually pretty transformative for what comes through.

In specific context of this conversation platforms should be forced to offer more blocking tools and granurity for those tools.

With the recent events in Alberta I really question the competence of the unions leaders. It really seems like a lot of them almost entirely rest on the laurels of the past so things should just fall their way.

They’ve also been losing the social media battle for a long time.

Bill 2 sets financial penalties of $500 per day for individuals who defy the back-to-work order and up to $500,000 for the union per day, if it doesn’t comply with the legislation. The bill also suspends bargaining at local tables until 2028.

If the other unions back them like what happened in Ontario in 2022 when Ford did that same this could end quickly.
