The way I’ve come to terms with it is this: if it hadn’t been for the IBM computers in use, we wouldn’t have the records that we do. We wouldn’t have had the same level of hard proof at Nuremberg. IBM didn’t commit the atrocities. But in a sense, they created accountability.
Cool. How much extra are you willing to pay for that? And what significant percentage (20%+) of your current take-home pay are you willing to sacrifice to that for tax?
Zorin’s been around for years. I’ve only ever used the free version. It’s okay, but I think Mint is a better transition between Windows and Linux.
I hope they find Mint soon. Zorin never worked well for me.
Reminder that there’s a lot of economic though that agrees with Marx that capitalism is a transitional state. The question is only whether it regresses into a feudal state or becomes a stateless, community-based culture.
