Soraya, the new mayor of Montreal claimed troughout her campaign that she was a person of the people and knew the issues the population were facing because her MP office was in her riding of Hochelaga. I’ve never ever seen her in my neighborhood nor do I think she even knows the struggles the people are facing in that area or in Montreal in general. She’s a career politician who was looking for her next job.
