The Guards of a system lord wear a helmet that represents them. So the Serpent Guards helmet is a serpent which eyes can glow. The Horus Guards helmet is an eagle which beak can glisten, but the Seteshs Guard helmet… Well it looks like a derpy dog (as seen in this threads image) so all it could do is having a drippy nose.
